Hola from Espanio!!!!!!!!!

Hola my amigos!

At the moment I am sitting in little cafe in a place in Spain called San Sebastian. Beautiful city with amazing mountains and beautiful beaches. Lets go back to London though - had fun there and didnt get bombed which is always nice! Checked out the sights ofLondon from the London eye although knowing London of course it was raining. Went and saw Chicago the musical with Brooke Shields for only 20 pounds, very cool. Also saw the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace and Art Museum with painting dating back to the 1200s. And America thinks it has history!
Set off on tour this last monday. Took the Ferry from Dover to Calais (France). Drove to Normandy and spent Tuesday there checking out the D-Day landing beaches, namely Omaha beach where many many allied soldiers lost their lives. Went tothe American Military Cemetry there with thousands of graves - quite overwhelming to think what these men sacrificed for the sake of freedom.
Headed to Mont St Michel where there is an amazing abbey and old town dating back to the 13 century on basically an Island. Next day headed through the country side to Cognac and went on a distillery tour and sampled the Cognac spirit. Yesterday we headed to Biarritz (beach town, supposedly best beach in Europe). Swam and hung out there, was so nice to be at a beach as had been craving one for so long!
Drove into Spain last night and am in San Sebastian now. Went out and had a crazy night last night trying to speak to the locals, dancing and drinking. Little under the weather today, but we are about to head for somelunch and then walk up a mountain for some great views of the city and then off to vegetate on the beach =)
By the way - Happy Birthday to leanne and andrew. Not sure who even looks at this page but i hope you get the message! Have just finished the last Harry Potter (no question of buying the 650pge book andlugging it around Europe). Was great, Sare have you read it yet? Incidentally i believe harry and i share the same bday (july 31 for all you playing at home!) which is almost here so
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!
I will be in Madrid checking out the scene and should be going to a bullfight which will be interesting......
Tour is cool - all the people are fun. The cook is fantastic and for the first time since i left home i feel healthy an well fed, yay! Having an awesome time and wish you all were here with me to see what its like.

Best be off, I love and miss you all very muchly.

Old London town =)

Hey guys,

Happened to be on the net so thought i'd let you all know that I arrived in London like 6am this morning. Didnt even hear about the recent bombings until like an hr ago. Im so out of the loop - no tv or papers for me! Anyways im staying right near Kings Cross St. where 1st bombing occured and the recent one was a couple of stops away so i certainly chose well! Anyways cant check into my room to sleep (much needed at this point) so im kind of just getting an idea of job options for later as i have know energy to walk around and take in the sites.

Enough blabbering, i'm off.

Take care xoxo

Chicago Calling!

Hello my people!

Well i managed to get myself free internet for an hour! Im sitting in a beautiful, old public library in downtown Chicago. Arrived in Chicago on Monday afternoon and just chilled out and saw a movie that night (too much partying in New Orleans =P) In the middle of the night got woken up to a fire alarm, and the whole building was evacuated. So we were all hanging out on the street at 3am or so while the fire dep. casually turned up and decided it was a false alarm or whatever. Tuesday came, and I went on a architecture cruise on the river around the city looking at the amazing skyscrapers (did you know....apparently chicago had the first skyscrapers). Then went up on the 92nd floor of the John Hancock Observatory and saw some fantastic views of the city. After that I went to the museum of contemporary art and saw a exhibition by Dan Flavin (Stas, Amit, Bryce...ring any bells?) Was ok. Then wandered around touristy navy pier (great views) and on the way home checked out the Art Institute of Chicago which was very cool. Went out last night to a neighbourhood and had famous Chicago pizza and home brewed beer (have conquered the beer frinking, yay!).

Today I went to the Field Museum of Natural Science (saw man eating lions and good old Sue - beloved tyrannosaurus rex), then the Adler Planeterium, and then the museum of contemporary photography which was great as well as free! Tonight im off to Millenium Park where they have free live classical music, should be interesting.

Off to London tomorrow arvo. Looking forward to it muchly, im a little over the states to be honest. Not to say i havent had a ball while ive been here though, i just dont think its the place for me. By the way mum, keep forgetting to tell you, i tried prawns and ate them and liked them...are you freaked out yet?

I wont be posting any more pics till im settled in London but rest assured, i have many good ones itching to be put on here when i can.

So enough from me. Next time you hear from me ill probably be in London/France!!!

Love you all xoxoxo
